As most designers, I am swimming in notebooks. Most are costly and made overseas. Funnily, most of them sit empty, waiting to be filled right next to my collection of pens and markers.

Difficult to describe why I like them so much, but there is just something about starting a new notebook! The subtle crack as you first lay the notebook flat open on the desk. The scent. The sharp edges not worn down from thumbing through it.
